Sorry for outdatedness

Hello out there in Cyberland,

We are currently in a hotel room with our two cats, a 26′ Penske moving van, a car tow, and free WiFi so I decided to let those faithful readers know that I am extremely sorry for the delay in posting a new thought. However, I do have the idea for what is coming.

The first one to three posts will be about marriage. Does God care about marriage? If so, does it have to be done by the government, church, or can it be done through another means? Isn’t marriage a cultural issue or is it something more?

After the ramblings on marriage I have no idea what will hit me to write about but my grandmother and I were talking about this one particular area because my sister just got married because she believes in the covenant of marriage; my cousin just got married because her husband (now) was not going to get any inheritance from his relative if he didn’t finally marry her (they have lived together for almost 10 years-which is a lot better than the national average for marriages ending in divorce-look for this example to come up in the marriage discussion); and lastly, another distant cousin just found out that his girlfriend is expecting. Should they get married? Why is this seen as bad? What is bad about it? Why?

Well, I need to get going for now. I need to get ready for the day. I look forward to researching and studying the marriage issue.

Many happy returns of the day,

  1. James says:

praying for you friend, hope you are doing well.

  2. Greg says:

Praying for you, your wife and coming child. May God richly bless you. Hope to see you soon. Can’t vote on “important in life” question…I vote other: OBEDIENCE to God’s Word! Through obedience comes blessings and a strengthening of your relationship with God. When you are close to God your faith will be strong.
